So here is Kyle's Story.  (Kyle is my sister in law)

Kyle is a 33 year old MOTHER OF 4 girls, she started to have stomach and back pains so on August 15, 2018 she decided that it was best to go to the ER.  She packed up her two youngest children and they went in.  Kyle went in thinking that she must have anything from a bladder infection, kidney infection or something like kidney stones at worst. They started out with the normal tests; blood work, ultrasounds and CT scan.  Right away the Dr.'s seemed concerned.  They said they were concerned about a few masses that were seen on the imaging, immediately the following day Kyle was supposed to go to have a CT with contrast.  The masses they saw were on her left ovary, uterus, and colon.  After the CT with contrast, they decided it was necessary to do a hysterectomy considering Kyles tubes were tied and she was done with children at that point once they got inside they would decide what exactly needed a biopsy and what needed to be removed.  Surgery was Thursday, August 23rd.  When she was in surgery it took longer than expected due to the fact that it was much worse than expected when they opened her up and got in there.   There is a "Fat curtain" the dr referred to it as that hangs from the top of your abdomen and covers some of your organs.  This was torn off the top of her abdomen and pushed down to the bottom of her stomach with all of her female organs as well as colon and bladder and they had all been fused together with CANCER!  Because of this, they were unsure what kind of cancer this was and where it was coming from.  This was extremely devastating to all of us and scary!  Now we had to wait 3-5 business days for answers we thought we would have that day.  Kyle was kept overnight in the hospital to keep her comfortable and to observe her.  She was released on restrictions and currently still has restrictions.  She went home and us family took the kids so she had a good 4 days kid-free, and Bobby stayed home with her Monday and left work early Tuesday.  8-31-18 Kyle and Bobby saw the Oncology dr to talk about the results.

This is Kyle's Post after she saw Oncology:

" *** Please continue to Pray for me and my family***
UPDATE to my August 25th post:

So as of August 23, 2018 they knew that I had cancer but where unaware of the source or the kind of cancer that is present. Approximately 6 days later I received a call that verified my worst nightmare. They confirmed I have ovarian cancer but I have a rare form of ovarian cancer. It is called Low grade serous carcinoma! This type of cancer is a less aggressive form but also is Chemo resistant. The source of the cancer was coming from my right ovary. Which they took that out on August 23. Down fall is the cancer had already spread to my bladder and colon and uterus. I will under go chemo to shrink/down size the remaining tumor/cancer that is still there. After a few rounds of chemo and I am clear they will do an other surgery to remove my uterus and any remaining cancer. In the process of all of this I will under go a series of test to find the broken gene and to see if it is hereditary.

*** We will be setting up a Go Fund me account to help pay for unpaid medical bills and anything else necessary in this time of need. We would also like to set up a benefit and silent auction. If anyone is willing to donate anything please let me know! Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers."

Kyle attended a Chemo information appointment on 9/21/18.  While there Kyle found that most of or all of her questions were answered without asking them.  She was told that her cancer is at a stage 3C.  This isn't as good as we had hoped, however, Kyle is strong and will fight this! She has good support around her.

CHEMO:
Kyle will start her first round of chemo on Monday, October 1st, 2018.  This is the day after the garage sale benefit so she is happy to be able to attend that.  And hopefully, she will be feeling better by the time we have the benefit at Captain’s Lakeside Grille.
(Jonah and the Whales start at 8:00pm) After 3 rounds (Once aprox 5hrs) every three weeks.  So approx 9 weeks, then they will do another CT to see where to go from there.  Is the cancer shrinking?  Can they do surgery again to remove the rest of it? More treatments? and so on.....

Please Keep Kyle and her family in your prayers.  WE LOVE YOU KYLE!!!!!
