So glad the pain has nearly disappeared and that you are able to sleep comfortably-- that makes such a difference in your body's healing process, and in your emotional responses to each day. You've lined up your daily life with routines that keep you productive (walking a circuit); keep your mind working (learning a new language and playing chess) and that also give you a chance to rest ( catching up on TV); AND you had a shower - nothing better!!

The weeks will start to fly by as you find things to occupy your mind. My favorite "wait 6 weeks and then get back to life" is to read a good series of books-- Kindle, or similar-- keeps the stack of books more manageable. My dad was clearing out his SciFi , Fantasy and murder mystery collections one year and sent them to me in a big box. I didn't open it until about a week after surgery, when the pain was under control and but I was staying off my leg, just keeping it elevated.

Continuing to pray for healing!

Kristina, Your journal entry today indicate that you're well on way to complete recovery. I will still be praying for your continuing to gain in both health and strength. Keep up with your positive attitude and your circuits around the house. I look forward to your next post.
