How are you doing Kristen? I was thinking about you and realized you hadn’t sent an update for a while, so just hoping you’re ok xx

Hi Kris (I know most people are saying who calls you Kris but only people from a long long time ago.) First let me begin by saying how sorry I am that you were dealt this card, cancer sucks and we all know it first hand . I love your positive outlook and love hearing all the progress you are making, I also love how far cancer research and protocol have come. The medical industry has taken leaps and bounds not only in treatment but prevention..
I am so sorry that our reunion fell on a weekend that didn’t work for you. As you mentioned in your post, I truly believe most people keep in touch with whom they choose to. The committee of 5 of us had one hell of time getting anyone even interested in it at all. I’m sorry there wasn’t a Saturday night event so you could have attended but we heard loud and clear no one wanted a dinner/dance activity and the parade was the one function of that day. Golf was more of a brunch than golf so again sorry that wasn’t communicated well. Would have loved to given you a hug but just know you are and will continue to be in my daily reflections and prayers. Keep up the good fight and hope to see you around .

Love love love your insight (& am hoping to carry it with me as my reunions start in the coming years). We’re enough because of the people who already love and support us! Thinking of you and am grateful to learn from your wisdom, as always. Hugs/love to you & your family. 🧡

Hi Kris-you are so funny, positive and insightful; I love it. My reunion is this coming weekend and I am stressing-----but as time gets closer, I really don't care what others think; after all, I am still me! This will only be my second trip down high schools memory lane......

It's hard to believe you are already through with round four; and, as someone already mentioned, half way done. Hip Hip hooray, you go girl! Stay strong, keep healing and don't lose your upbeat and positive attitude.

Love and miss you lots. Tina

It is always such an amazing experience to do a reunion. We want to be thing, successful, rich and whatever for people that we have not seen or really cared for in ages. Still it is great to see them and remember the fun and laughter because - looking back, it seems so easy! When we were there it had its challenges. I was giggling as I was a cheerleader and i did a guy in the first rugby team and I was loved, but never thought of myself like that. So cool to see that now :)
I always think things happen for a reason so waking up later was meant to be - just heal for now!
I'm so grateful that i am one of those people you love, I am blessed!

You are over the half way mark, Kris! So glad your fall injuries are healing up too. Having attended my 40th school reunion last weekend, I could relate to your journal entry. I am pleased to report that the playing grounds are now SO level. Happily everyone has matured into really nice, accepting people, having all had our fair share of heartaches and highs. Counting down till November! xxx
