What an appropriate metaphor. I cannot begin to imagine what it must feel like, but I do know, with everything in my heart that YOU can do this. You are tuff, courageous, resilient and the most determined person I know. I am in your corner Kris. I am that person holding the bucket that you spit into and I'm shouting that you can do this!!!! All my love

Oh my love, you are ever-amazing -! Just utterly ... I will call you tomorrow to cheer you on and sing you love songs. I couldn’t possibly love you all more! Soon we will dance on this shimmering, stinky compost heap and sing praises to the beauty it nourishes forth. I trust your health. I love you.

Kris-I will forego the temptation to make any “Rocky” references here (as in “Yo, Adrian” — slipped one in😏) but you’ve most likely hit on a very apt description of going through chemo. It’s great that you can feel improvements — I picture that chemo cocktail morphing into those “scrubbing bubbles” — only more like NINJAs — zooming around in there and wiping out all the bad guys. Your updates are so inspiring and very appreciated by all of us who are out here cheering you on.
