You’re such an intrepid, dearest Kris! And the writing! (It has GOT to be in a published book when treatment is complete- to comfort, energize and educate anyone on a similar journey.) Not to mention your talented cooking/caring circle who are doing a great job over there. 🤗

Chicken (and white bean) soup cooked and ready for delivery tomorrow, all organic. Also a sorghum salad with fresh lime, nuts, and other assorted tasties. If it doesn’t go down I’ll show your fam how to make into a soup! Glad today went well. Keep up the good fight!

Feeling just the same as before so far! I got two anti-nausea meds and a steroid before the chemo; this chemo is less nausea-inducing than the one I got in the hospital; the side effects only kick in in a couple of days (Sunday); and I have two medications plus CBD oil here to take if I need them. AND Sarah and I just bought some “BRAT” food I can eat (bananas, rice, applesauce and toast), and my friend of Elaine is being chicken soup tomorrow. I’m covered!
