Oh, Kris, how I love you, your attitude, your strength, your heart, and even your liver! I am so happy to hear the plan and to hear your voice through your writing. Love the concept of your second birth-day! Happy to celebrate that with you. Sending love by the minute!

Sending you SO MUCH LOVE, Kristen. This all sounds like phenomenal news. Way to bounce back! If your chemo is like mine, it will indeed take all your hair...and that means ALL (eyelashes, legs, nether regions...all of it). I got a very short haircut in preparation, but ended up having to shave my head anyway within a short time (my morning pillow and showers were too disconcerting to handle day after day for me). I understand there are cool new innovations being tested, though, like a freezing skull cap you wear during treatment that is meant to reduce the hair loss. Probably other neat stuff, too. Hoping, hoping you remain feeling strong through all of this, but don't be worried if things go sideways for a while. Everyone reacts differently. Your own reactions may change over time with good and bad hours/days/weeks. When I was ready to give up, an amazing girl on my oncology team told me to remember that the chemo was a great big FU to the cancer and that if I held out I would win in the end. Words to survive on! Yours for the taking should you need them. Loads of love to you, Charles and the kids xoxo

So much awesome news!!! Love the bright light that you are Kristen! Oh and btw, my SIL went through colon and breast cancer. With the chemo for breast cancer, she lost all body hair...so you might just luck out and lose your leg hair! 🤞 Love and hugs!!! 💞
