First I want to say a heartfelt, beyond words THANK YOU 🙏🏻 to everyone for your prayers, thoughts, notes, treats, cards, calls etc... without you I couldn’t of done this! I pulled through Covid and the doctors nurses etc. said that’s a rarity now and days with as bad as it’s gotten. There were five of us in ICU and I was told only two of us were going home. That’s a harsh, sad & scary as hell reality!!
When I left the hospital they had a goodbye parade for me!! The halls were lined with doctors, nurses & staff clapping, cheering and even crying!! It was emotionally heart wrenching to see them all so ‘happy’ that somebody actually was leaving, going home and was going to make it!! I’m praising God I was one of them.
Again words can’t thank everyone enough for the prayers! They DO work!! I’m living proof that God is good and I believe without him I wouldn’t be here.
Thank you to my husband who also battles COVID at the same time, made me go in and has taken care of me every step of the way. Thank you to my daughter who called the hospital daily to get reports to give back to the family so they knew how I was doing. And for
setting up the CaringBridge to keep people informed so they knew what was going on. Thank you again all my family and friends for the prayers, support etc. I couldn’t of done it without them & you!!
I’m on my way to a full recovery, still some issues with dropping oxygen levels but we’re working on that too! It’s a process and can be a long road, but I am on it and recovering and I am happy as hell that I am!!
