Great news today with Kimmie!  She had an extensive consultation with her Penn Medicine PC oncologist today, Dr. Schneider. He said the biopsy they did during her surgery came back CANCER FREE. The PC surgeon, Dr. Lee, said that during the surgery he saw no cancer with the naked eye, and today they both confirmed that she is definitely in remission. NO CANCER.  We talked about clinical trials with him, and Dr. Schneider explained there's no need for any clinical trial because there is no metastasis of cancer. He also explained that there is a NEW blood test that is now approved which compares the DNA of her first biopsy in November, 2020 of the cancerous tumor with the current DNA of her blood which will detect any metastasis sooner than any scan or other blood test could. This is a wonderful tool because if any metastasis should occur, it could be detected sooner so chemo could attack it immediately. What an answer to prayer. We feel very relieved and blessed. She just finished the appointment with the surgeon, Dr. Lee, and he, too, confirmed Kimmie is in remission. She will be given that new DNA blood test shortly to compare her present DNA with the cancerous tumor at the time of diagnosis. The doctors are happily shocked. She will be re-scanned in early January and meet with Dr. Schneider that same day.  Thank you, friends and family, for your love and prayers. We've received so many calls and texts for an update, and we're thrilled to report that even though the tumor couldn't be removed last month, Kimmie is now CANCER FREE. We are thanking God for this miraculous report. TO GOD BE THE GLORY.  GREAT THINGS HE HATH DONE. ❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏
