Kim - Brian and I are friends with your Uncle Bob and Aunt Linda, also neighbors of your grandparents in Holland. We are continually praying for you each day as we also pray for our 17 year old grandson who is also fighting the cancer battle. Holding you up in prayer for good opinions from the doctors. We also love Dr Steensma.

Kim...I’m not sure if you remember me or not, I used to work at Admin for Jenison Public. I was in the Personnel Dept when you went through your first battle with cancer. It pains me to know you’re having to go through this again. I want you to know that we (my husband and I) understand the feelings you’re having as we are going through our own diagnosis...my husband was diagnosed with stage 4 rectal cancer the week of Thanksgiving. I say all of this to just let you know that you are not alone in this journey....God has you in His mighty hands just as he has my husband. May you feel the love of Christ through every high and more so in every low. You will be added to our prayer list as we’ve seen how God works and know beyond a shadow of a doubt that He is walking this with as! Love and hugs to and your precious family!

Kim, Happy Birthday to your adorable baby boys! I love reading your beautifully written updates and you do such a great job of asking for specific prayer requests. It makes it so much easier to keep you and your family in constant daily prayer. Know that the whole Kohere family and many of your mom's and grandparent’s friends from NJ are lifting you up in prayer daily. Please keep fighting and let Jesus take the wheel. I’m sure you have your own special verses but mine has always been Phil. 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Love to you all! Hoping your pain, sleep and cough get better and you get good news on your test results.

Happy birthday to your beautiful boys Garrett and Willem ❤️
Your strength comes from the Lord and remember that His power is made strong (perfect) in our weakness. Keep imagining yourself healed lifting your eyes above. There is power in the imagination of what Christ will do in your healing. I see you healed, restored, strong, and renewed. Let Him do your fighting, Kimberly. Keep trusting in Him. You are a beautiful daughter of the King of kings. He loves you fiercely and will fight every battle for you. Prayers of peace, comfort, healing, and mercy over you and your family. 🙏🙏🙏

Those are sure some handsome boys!! They’ve grown just since I first saw them. Kim, you are in my prayers everyday. And your hubby, the boys and your family, too. I will continue to pray for your requests—and know that you are blessed by our Lord God. He is our “go-to-God”, and He will supply you with all your needs. Please don’t be upset about being upset, remember, “He will restore what the locusts have eaten.” Something I believe in strongly is telling myself, “and this, too, shall pass.” It has brot me thru some difficult times. Keep your faith, girl!! God is with you--always!!
God IS good!!!!!!!
Much Love & Prayers to you and your family!!

We join with you in earnest intercessory prayer for God’s awesome power to bring complete healing.

Rest assured that God can perform an amazing miracle. Don’t be discouraged by the circumstances, but look to our Divine Healer. Remember that Jesus declared, “All things are possible for one who believes” (Mark 9:23, ESV). So keep on putting your faith in God and believe for an answer to your prayers. No matter what things look like in the natural realm, and regardless of bad reports you might hear, pray in confidence for the Lord to impart a total healing. God often brings glory to His name by doing the impossible!

As you pray, consider the faith of the Canaanite woman who pleaded with Jesus to heal her daughter. When she kept petitioning the Lord, Jesus said to her, “Dear woman, your faith is great. Your request is granted” (Matthew 15:28). And her daughter was healed immediately. Like the Canaanite woman, call upon the Lord with great faith, and don’t give up.

In addition, the Heavenly Father cares very much about you and wants to uphold you by His Spirit. You can be like the apostle Paul, who said, "I have the strength to face all conditions by the power that Christ gives me" (Philippians 4:13, GNB). Find time to rest in the Lord’s refreshing presence, for His Word tells us, "The Lord is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in him" (Nahum 1:7, NLT). He will be especially close to you during this time.

This was sent to me from my prayer partners at CBN
