It's officially over. After countless doctors appointments, 16 chemotherapy treatments (20 weeks), lumpectomy with lymph nodes removed, and 25 radiation treatments (5 weeks) I'm cancer free and will hopefully stay that way forever! I was lucky to have no set backs but even luckier to have the best support group ever. Thank you family, friends and coworkers for taking this journey with me and helping me be successful. Couldn't have done it without everyone! Here is what the immediate future holds: I'll have a couple more weeks of healing from radiation, then some follow up doctor visits, scans in November and possibly surgery (other breast) in December.
