Journal entry by Cynthia Sedlacek

Kim asked if I would share with you a specific prayer request.  As you know, Kim had her first chemotherapy session last Thursday. Kim has never been someone to complain, but she said by Sunday she was experiencing unbearable nausea and body aches.  The doctors did prescribe additional medication to try and relieve her nausea and side effects; however, nothing helped. She said she absolutely can not handle having to go through that experience again.

Please pray for our Mighty Physician to guide the doctor to other medications/treatments that will eliminate such an extreme reaction.  “Heal Kim, Lord, and she will be healed; for you are the one we praise.” Jer 17:14.

The chemotherapy is a necessary part of her treatment to rid her body of cancer so “we cry out to God; we call to God, and you will hear us.” Psm 77:1
