I know she is in heaven, and I rejoice. I am sad for your loss, though, and will continue to pray for you and the rest of the family.

This is so heartbreaking. BettyAnn truly was a giver in so many ways. I will cherish the memories of her inviting my kids and I along on adventures. One of my favorite memories is us dropping kids off at VBS and then she took me house hunting with herself and Darren. She thought it would be fun for me to see different homes and learn what types of things to look for when purchasing a home. It is surreal that she is no longer here and my heart hurts for you all. Darren, David, William, and Bethany you were her world and I know everything she did in life was for you all. She was quirky, fun, and just found the best ways to enjoy everyday life. I am thinking of you all. We were blessed to know her and I hope you keep us updated on the kids' milestones, Darren. ❤️

Praying for all of you, that the peace of God which passes all understanding will rest on you. And for continued healing and health for you, Darren.

I am sorry for the genuine loss of your soul mate. What a wonderful person she was. The sorrow and feeling of being lost without her will last for a long time. Talk to your friends, talk to your children. Listen to your children as they attempt to deal with their loss as well. When they act out ask yourself if it is possible it is grief instead of a rebellious attitude. Grief counseling is very helpful. Don't forget to be kind to yourself. You need time to heal physically from surgery and emotionally from the loss of your woman who was everything to you and loved you so very much. I will never forget her wisdom, sense of humor and open attitude throughout her treatments. The advice and kindness she showed to newbies on the THM program left an everlasting impression on many of us. You cry, hold your kids as they cry and let them know it is okay to show emotion where everyone can heal. Continual prayers for your family. BettyAnn doesn't need prayers now. She has her new body and is with God.
