Kittens HOME!

Happy New year family and friends!
Well, Kitten is out of rehab hospital and is home solo! She is doing excellent! We went to cardiologist today for follow up and everything is healing GREAT! She isn't even using her walker. I went ahead and told on her but Dr. said as long as she is comfortable the more independent the better. She will be able to drive in 4-6 weeks. So approximately on 1/12 shell be independent again! Thank you all for the prayers, text, calls and emails. I will show her all the comments on here through her journey. Feel free to shoot her an email and check on her. iamkitten9@yahoo.com. I feel email is a little bit better then calling or texting at times because she gets winded. But, she is open to all forms of communication.

Side Note if you know ANYONE especially women with constant indigestion, nausea, or any gastro issues that seem to NOT be resolved. PLEASE encourage them to have their heart checked enzyme check via bloodworm before Upper or Lower GI test are run. A colonoscopy could've killed my mom and  I just want to warn anyone...
New year New you! DO NOT set New Years resolutions. Just change your lifestyle.....Habits are formed in 2 weeks! I NEVER EVER do resolutions! I feel like they set anyone up for failure. Just like the word DIET, I instantly become hungry..LOL!

Thank you all again for your love and support!
Much love and blessings!
Happy New Year
Inhaled the Good Stuff , Exhale the Bad Stuff!
love always

KITTEN's ESCAPING!!!!! WOOOHOOO...Happy 2019..Cheers!

Family & Friends~ Moms got EVERY single tube out!!!Even the chest tube is OUT and her lung is healing.  SHE IS FREE!!! They are discharging her tomorrow and she is going to a rehab for 1to 2 weeks FULL TIME & staying there. We still have great road to conquer but she is in better spirits today. Please continue to lift us all in prayer especially Mom. I will let you know when she's ready for visitors. She is saying probably once she gets home and gets settled. She may feel like friends at Rehab once she gets stronger. I have told her about all of your text, emails, food, hugs and calls. She is so thankful but just been trying to recoup everyday!

Have a happy holiday! At this point I am not going to really add much more unless something comes up I feel I need to share. We have a week before Christmas and I am going to try to absorb as much time as I can with the family as this year is going to be different. I am not complaining as I am so thankful my mom is still here to be with us!

We went to a church program over the weekend and the pastor made a great point. We truly put too much emphasis on the wrong meaning of Christmas. We focus on BEST Gift, Best this, best that! I am speaking about myself as well as I a so guilty of this!  We let the holidays fly by without absorbing the special moments, memories, family etc. We get caught up in the hustle and bustle of life, kids parties, teachers gifts, and just the wrong focus. And next thing you know 12/25 has come and gone. It seems we do not take a moment to really enjoy and Focus on the Birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. I know that I want NOTHING this year but just health, joy, and peace! I want my mom to be healed of all her past history Heart/GI issues and go on to live many more healthy years! I hope this story makes you stop in your tracks and take in Christmas. Pastor was right...the first question everyone ask is " are you ready for Christmas?" And NO ONE is every ready. And sadly we are not ready for the wrong reasons...They do not have the perfect gift or the most expensive gift. So, take a second to prepare for Christmas and be thankful for the life you have, health and joy!
Happy Holiday , Merry CHRISTmas and Happy New year! May 2019 bring you lots of Cheer!
Blessing

Kitten's recovering but VERY VERY Tired..NO VISITORS PLS!

Hey there~ been a few days since I updated and I wanted to update as soon as I knew more. Mom, has had to have a little chest tube inserted due to partial collapse lung (common during this type of surgery) They just did a 3rd X-ray and its getting better so hopefully tube out tomorrow as I think its the MOST uncomfortable feeling she is feeling right this second. She is up a little but not much and drs are encouraging her to start moving more. Physical therapy is pushing her THANK THE LORD as she won't let me tell her. All in all there is not much more to share. She still does not want ANY visitors at all! She has been very clear about this and says please to not take offense. They are looking at 2-4 more days in main hospital then a rehab hospital closer to home. This will be nice so I can be closer to her faster and her grandkids can see her. They haven't seen here since 12/11 and not much prior to that because with the GI issues she had,  she wasn't sure if she was contagious. Well we now know it was NOT GI EVER! Scary scary....
Thank you for text, emails, calls, meals, thoughts, prayers etc.....
I am so sorry as I am just trying to stay above water most days and this is very difficult for me to watch. I miss my mom....I talked or texted numerous times a day. I could share the daily ins and outs wit her about kids etc and cannot right now. Good or bad and now I cannot. I know this is temporary but it feels like forever. I want to make sure to not upset her or anything at this time. Making sure I am being positive to her at all times. I am forever grateful for God and the Dr's that saved her life and all the people in between.
Its a little bit lonely valley to navigate alone. But I do feel all the love, support and kindness from the outside.
Keep the prayers coming. Please share with anyone that has not signed up for these updates. I am forever grateful for all your prayer warriors.
Happy holidays....Blessings and Hugs

She is doing pretty good today~ UP in chair.. Pain still there but Nausea is let up!

Family & Friends~ They have had mom up in a chair almost all day! She is off the pain pump, all other tubes out and has begun physical therapy. She is just on oral pain meds now and nausea is gone. We think pain pump was causing nausea. PRAISE GOD! I can say She is VERY weak and weary but trying so hard. Still not up for any type of visitors, I say because she's too weak but she says because her hair isn't perfect. So her and I will agree to disagree on why no visitors. I do not know when she will be moved to rehab hospital but I think maybe 3-5 more days. Then 1-2 weeks there. Thank you again for your thoughts and prayers! I have shared all of this with her. I took a pic of her in chair and she threatened to have me thrown out of hospital if I posted it, so I will not do that..LOL! but, today is a better day! Thank you lord! happy holidays my friends.....And to all you wonderful family and friends that have brought food, help with my kids etc...I humbly thank you! And to all of you that have offered I am so thankful!!! What a blessing to see so many people loving my momma and us!!
Blessings and thank you

Thank you all so much! Surgery is tomorrow and we ask for prayers!

Hello there~ family and friends I come to you with a humble heart and soul. Thank you for all the love you have shown to my mom and my family. From calls, text, emails, visits, offers for meals , prayers or just a hug. My moms procedure will be tomorrow @8am, December 12th. I would love to ask for prayers lifted up for her, us & doctors. At this time we are asking no visitors come to the hospital unless arrangements have been made already through myself. We have tons of support that will be there and I feel at this time less is more. She will be in ICU for 12-24hours, therefore I am not sure what visiting will be and she doesn't need visitors the first day or 2nd day in my opinion. I will be in touch when its a good time and will keep you posted on here. Thank you so much! Blessings
Thank you so much for the love
