Journal entry by Natalie Quillen

Hello everyone, God’s blessings sent to you on this beautiful day 💗

I have been thanking and praising God for all of the treatment, doctors, people who pitched in to help and these last few months of Kialyn being seizure free 🙏

Kialyn has had 13 small headaches that last under 1 minute through out these past 3 months. He added a 3rd seizure medication called Zonisamide to see if it works with the Briviact to help with these frequent headaches.

Kialyn has another MRI and follow up with radiology at the end of August to see how things are going with the tumors.

God blessed our family with two small family vacations, both to our family’s cabin up in northern Minnesota where Kialyn was able to enjoy the great outdoors, ride atv and side by side, go swimming at a very clear and beautiful lake, bonfire every night and explore trails with his uncle, cousin, siblings and mom. The 2nd trip was spiritual and devotional and spent with his great aunt, grandma, sister and momma. This helped center our family and keep our eyes on the Lord and trust in him 💗💗💗

Our family is trying to find the best time to do daily devotions together, so far 9am has been our time, there are days where 1 is missing but we try to keep going and take it day by day and praise the Lord in the process 🙏

Our family struggles with the anxiety from the convulsive seizures, some mental health problems, drug/alcohol addictions and many other things. God has been working in our lives and I see his work not only in Kialyn with his seizures but within myself, my close family members and people I love 💕

This is a message of hope and love, we pray God blesses all of you & takes away your pain and frees you from anything holding back your joy and relationships that you will ask God for help in everything you do 🙏

Love always,
The Quillen’s
