Dear Anna, Clara, and Ella, this is an absolutely magnificent legacy left by a wonderful soul! You were blessed to have him, we were all blessed to know him and devastated to be without him. Kevin's memory and spirit were alive at this year's IACP Forum, and his inspirational message of "peacemaking" permeated throughout the rooms, hallways, and hearts of all who attended. In the midst of all the horror that is happening in the Middle East, it is ironic (or not) that this is where his peacemaking journey began. Thank you for sharing that. It's an important reminder. To that point, I want to let you know that I, along with many other "Friends of Kevin" are forming a "Higher Education Scholarship Fund" in Kevin's name. Kevin, Chuck Quaid, and I co-chaired the IACP Higher Education Task Force. We are dedicated to educating the next generation and we will utilize the scholarship funds to do so, I look forward to sharing more details with you. For now, please know that we all stand with you and your family, send love and support, and wish you peace and ease. Randy Heller
