Kevin’s Story

Site created on April 22, 2021

Hello, friends and family.  As many of you have heard, Kevin was recently diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma of the neck and throat--a type of cancer his oncologist says is HIGHLY CURABLE.  Still, it will be a trying two-three months.  With people in different time zones, I started this site to keep you posted on what I'm sure will be Kevin's awesome progress.  We appreciate your support and words of encouragement.  xoxo Diana

Journal entry by Diana Oleary

He's watching Patton on TV and thankfully we are in that zone where almost every sport is on: NASCAR, golf, basketball, college baseball, real baseball.  Two weeks to go!  June 9 is the last day of radiation.  Tomorrow-Weds is the last round of chemo.  He really feels like crap now and it's hard to talk so it's a bit more quiet than usual.  We are making lots of plans for July,  His birthday is June 30 so let's hope that we can go out for dinner and he can actually taste it.  Not much else to report other than thank you!  I know he appreciates your texts to check-in.
