Molly, Jack and Nora... not a day goes by that we don’t think about you all and Kevin. Your message touched our hearts, just like Kevin and your whole family have touched Ours.

Molly - what an awesome message. It's amazing that this website provides so many comforts and updates for many from afar throughout such long battles and then it just stops. I've always struggled with that internally as well that the final message or update isn't more uplifiting. So kudos to you for taking that time to make it happen for you and so many others.

"Play the game (even if you suck at it)." You know he's smiling at that one. 👍

You don't move on, you just tackle what's next. Pretty similar to how Kevin, you and the entire family fought this battle from start to finish. With grace, humility and often times, humor.

We will all continue to pray throughout the holidays and beyond that the "new normal" becomes a little easier and less hectic everyday. And maybe, just maybe we'll continue to honor him with a Jack and Coke (maybe) and a Grilled Cheese (with ham) on more than one occasion.

Your whole family is in my prayers. This is especially a hard time of year when there has been a loss, especially this close to Christmas. Make new traditions and talk as much and cry as much as you need to. Wishing you peace this season and throughout the new year.

Molly, Thanks for posting again. I love your statement, " We do not 'move on' from grief, but we do move forward." I am still struggling with my grandson's death at age 26 a year and a half ago.

Fr. Larry Donohoo has said a Mass for Kevin.

I hope Nora and Jack stay resilient, as well as you.

That was a beautiful post Molly. A wonderful tribute to Kevin and your love of him and your children. The thought of replacing the last “final” post with such a powerful and moving one was truly inspirational.

God bless you and keep you close.
