Good afternoon! Hope everyone is enjoying the warmer weather! We realized it has been a little bit since we have updated, so wanted to take a minute to do so. Dad has had a busy couple months. He finished his three radiation treatments in May, and did fabulous. He will get an MRI again in 3 months and will have an appointment with his oncologist, Dr. Buroker, to see if he will need anymore radiation treatments. Dad also went back to Iowa City to the neurosurgeon for his follow up appointment. At that appointment he was released to drive and doesn't have to go back for a year! After another appointment with his physical medicine and rehab doctor, it was decided that Dad will go back and do another 8 weeks of therapy. After that point, he will have another appointment to decide next steps. We got Dad a bike for Father's Day and he has been getting out and about with Mom :)
