Leslie, this is all so encouraging. I am so glad to hear how well Kevin is doing and that you're in such good spirits. I am sure you will be glad to have Kevin back at home. Please let me know if I can help with the dogs, errands, etc. We are in Dedham most of the rest of summer. Love to you, Kevin, Lily and Myles. XO

I am seriously out of the loop , as I regret to say that I just heard about Kevin’s stroke yesterday. I’m deeply concerned.
Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

This news is the best birthday present I received. Thanks for the update. I pray that his recovery continues on an upward trajectory. I can sympathize with his vision issues since mine have limited my activities, especially with driving. As we all know, craving pizza is a sure sign of recovery as well as a bellwether of mental health.
Keep Trekking On,
Michael

That is wonderful news! I saw him Friday, but the previous visit he talked about counting the days for going home! We talked about the Joiner a lot, so many memories of amazing events, people--and all the translations that have come out of the Joiner....many that Kevin and Chung worked on. The beautiful giant handmade book that came from Vietnam, poems all translated by them. I updated him on Preston having his surgery and being in several anthologies--it was a very happy conversation! We both had trouble remember all the names! Look forward to being able to visit him at your home, when the time is good. Thanks you for your generosity of spirit and continual hope! Love Elizabeth
