I enjoy your posts. I can't imagine living in as structured and quiet home as Kevin asked you to do. I grew up with 4 siblings and constantly noisy atmosphere. I've been known to scream at my computer when I am frustrated by opposing counsel. However, I do enjoy quiet when I'm on vacation in Colorado. When we are there, we generally did not work-- pre retirement. We could enjoy the quiet sounds of nature that is not possible in Dallas with I-75 so near our home. I am motivated to meditate in Colorado because of the natural beauty, quiet surroundings, and lack of social or work pressures.

We are sharing your quiet with the Corona virus stay home era. The quiet is not necessarily silence but a reprieve from the press of busy-ness. Staying home allows a peace. There is no where in the world that is exempt from the virus so home is the best place to be.

I'm glad that silence is a choice for you now and not an accommodation for anyone else.
