Sorry everyone - it has been over a month since I last updated and lots has happened.
Seth and I moved to Annville - we are now 8 minutes from my family and still very close to Seth's dad as well. The move has taken up most of my free time so now that we are mostly settled I can focus a bit more on other things.
Dad had an appointment a few weeks ago to check on a few things. He met with Chemo specialists (something he is hoping to avoid doing in the future but still necessary to sit down and talk with them) and he received another hormone shot (a necessary evil once again). He has been doing well. He returned to work full time and has been able to maintain 40 hour work weeks for the most part.
About 2 weeks ago he went in again to have his PSA levels tested. This would show us whether radiation was effective at killing his cancer or if he needed to start talks about another round of radiation. We are SO happy to report that his PSA level came back at a 0.54. For comparison, right before he went in for his first round of radiation his PSA was a 9.63. What a huge difference! We are so grateful to his doctors, all of you who prayed for him and reached out to him, to his employer Mike who was so incredibly understanding and made it as easy as possible for dad to come and go during the work week as he needed too, and we are most thankful to God for giving us grace and peace over these past months. Our family has felt loved and cared for and we are so thankful to this community for your thoughts and prayers. Thank you and lots of love from us!
