Ken’s Story

Site created on December 26, 2018

As many of you know, Ken was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2016.  Following surgery at that time, he did well and entered into remission.  Recent tests have revealed that he has an aggressive bladder cancer.  Chemotherapy will begin on Friday, December 28th. Please join us in prayer support and encouragement for Ken and Rose.

Hello! I just wanted to send out an email to remind everyone that we are planning Ken’s Celebration of Life on Saturday, November 14th at 2:00 at Cornerstone Bible Church in Lilburn (869 Cole Dr. Lilburn, GA 30047). We still know that Covid conditions could change again and cause us to limit the numbers of attendees but as far as we now know, this should be fine. We also are working on having an on-line live stream of the service. I plan on sending another reminder message in early November and I will list directions for the live streaming then. If you do not get it and need the information, please contact me.

It has been very hard to wait all this time but I truly feel that I needed to do this in order to try for a more normal service and to honor Ken’s wishes for this service. I hope you will be able to join us either in person or on line.
Love to you all,
Rose
