Dear Ken,

Happy Passover/Pessah 😊

Time flies…and we did not have news from you for a long time. We hope everything is OK for you, Liz, your daughters and their families.

Paris is focused on the next Olympic Games coming on July 26th. Even the whole country thinks about this event with the competitions which will be held in other towns. It is really a mess : works everywhere on the street, strikes among the people who must welcome the tourists (civil servants who want to take advantage of the situation to earn more money), public transportations with lot of changes, etc…

Our aim is leaving the town on summertime !

Eva feels very good in her job : she has been working as a publisher for a great house called ‘Editions de La Martinière’. She is very happy with her boyfriend Pierre, living together since october 2019, very close to our place now (twenty minutes on foot). Pierre will be graduate as a doctor on May, after ten years of studies (people who learn medecine are very brave…).

Edouard is OK. He is developping his business with foreign companies. We often go to Normandy to see his father and we have celebrated his 89th birthday last March!

I am OK. Officially retired but doing many things as a volunteer : school tutoring with children form 9 to 15 years old several times a week and sociology, economics, italian, art history and cinema classes for my own culture. I help Edouard when he needs me, of course 😊

Looking foward to hearing from you.

Miss you so much…

Lots of love to you, Liz, and the whole family

Caroline

What a lovely message to know how Ken gave so generously of his body after his life was full filled. It is amazing what can be learned from just one well used body. And what a wonderful way to celebrate the receiving of his ashes. I'm sure he was looking down and grinning ear to ear to see all of you enjoying life! Never stop celebrating each other.
