Kelsey’s Story

Site created on August 6, 2018

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
Kelsey's story started on August 2nd, 2018.  She went to the doctor because she wasn't feeling like herself and was having a hard time.  At the initial visit the doctor found out that Kelsey's Calcium level was elevated, so they sent her to the Emergency room to get further checked out.  After admitted into the hospital they figured out that Kelsey was having acute kidney failure.  So they did some scans and found out that her calcium was in her blood instead of her bones and that her bones were deteriorating.  With further investigation they discovered that Kelsey had a mass in her breast and in her bones.  Kelsey was diagnosed with stage 4 estrogen receptor positive breast cancer and it has spread to her bones.  Kelsey has a long road ahead of her, but she's tough and we have hope.  We will continue to update everyone via this website ❤ thank you for your support and prayers.
