Journal entry by Morgan Schwartz

After going through a frightening accident, Kelsey was rushed to the hospital in serious condition. She had undergone five surgeries, all of them a success. Due to Covid-19, sadly her family can't be with her as she spends her days in the hospital. However, nurses have been really nice and keeping her company, Kelsey even listening to Country music with them.

The breathing tube was finally taken out -after Kelsey decided to keep biting it- and she is beginning to talk. Being the dork she is, she had taken numerous selfies already and posted one to Facebook to update her peers and thank them for the prayers everyone sent out. Kelsey is fighting hard and going strong, this will be a long journey of her recovering but she will come out of it stronger than ever and loud as hell.
