Hello dear friends,

Well we finally had a good trip to Shands! Our prayers were answered. All of Kelly's tests came back that the fibrosis has stabilized. All of his pulmonary function numbers were almost exactly the same and his CAT scan was almost identical.

So it appears the medicine combination he is on is working! So now the plan is to stay the course. Keep his current activity up, watch his oxygen saturation levels, and wear oxygen if it dips or he suspects that it will drop. 

We go to the cardiologist in the beginning of May to keep an eye on the effects of the lung disease on his heart and we were given an extra month before we have to go back to Shands. 

So bottom line is this is all great news! Rejoice with us and praise and thank God for this amazing blessing! 

So, if all goes well, you shouldn't be hearing from us until May or June. A truly sincere thank you to all of you who have been praying for Kelly and our family.
