So sorry that your life's journey took the fork you're on. I have shepherded my now-35 year old daughter through two battles with cancer and a bone marrow transplant all before the age of 16. I can easily relate to your beautiful, thoughtful post. I also commend you for your broad, positive perspective. I've been doing these battles for 31 years now and the docs and staff will tell you that the positive attitude of the patient is a pretty good predictor of the ultimate outcome. I shall hold you and your family in my prayers. God bless!
