Mom is finally home! Many of you probably already know but I wanted to post an update here for anyone that has been following mom's recovery journey through Caring Bridge as well. 

On Thursday she was discharged from the Inpatient Rehab Facility in Fargo and went back with Philip and Kristi to her home in Kenmare. She still has a lot of work to do in order to get back to full strength with continued outpatient therapy and exercise at home but she is making great progress! 

All in all, mom was in the hospital or rehab for over a month and she is so glad to finally be in her own home again! 

Thank you so much to everyone who has been praying for her and for us in this time. We ask for your continued prayers going forward. It is often the long road of recovery after the more acute phases that can be the hardest sometimes. I know mom has been extremely touched by all the love and support that she has received from so many people and I have as well. 

I'm back in Tulsa now and Philip is flying back to Japan on the 17th. One good thing that came out of all of this that I treasured personally was a chance to see all my siblings together. That hadn't happened in a very long time and it was such a blessing.
