Newest Update

Journal entry by Jenny Taylor

We are making progress as the side effects of radiation wear off Kelcies progress is great. She is tolerating food again in small quantities, still limited taste but an improvement nonetheless. She is keeping a food log and we are hoping to titrate her tube feed off at some point soon.  We went to the otolaryngologist and they took a look at her vocal cords, left is still paralyzed. Her voice is improving we will wait to see if further intervention is needed or not. She is able to swallow much better with limited coughing.  Her vision remains the same, balance , and strength seem to be improving.  OT and PT are visiting at her home. Kelcie will be driving this week with me....ugh wish me luck..Just kidding ..Still submitting her chart to NIH for other options in the future. We still have big hopes of further tumor treatment...

Thank you for the continued prayers.
