Keith’s Story

Site created on January 2, 2020

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Please use this app for updates and to schedule time to visit through Sarah Kristin. He is limited on how many visitors he can have each day.

Keith is a warrior and we are hopeful that Gods plan will find us the heart match Keith needs. We thank you for your support though this time. We are so grateful for the doctors, nurses, and staff at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center 🏥

Thank you for your prayers and support for Keith andI. Your love means so much to us. He is still very sick and his kidney, liver, and heart are trying to get stronger so they can function without help. Because of his fragile state he has moved to a #1 on the transplant list. He will stay in ICU until a heart is available and he will be here after the transplant. It will probably be months. We are so happy with the care from the Drs and nurses... they are amazing. Your prayers mean the world to us! Thank you!

Happy March! We are now heading into spring!!!!
Oh happy day! Well, right now Keith and I are trying to recover together! I don’t know if this is good for a marriage or not! Both of us are sure we know the best remedy for everything.... or nothing!!

I’m still using a walker and on pain meds every 4 hours.... that includes bedtime! Keith doesn’t need a walker... he gets around pretty well! His main focus is the organization of his medication! Can you tell we are having an exciting time here at home!!!

Our college friend Val ( from Ariz) is helping for a few days and multiple friends have been in and out to help! I don’t know what we would do without the tlc from each of you! It has warmed our hearts and hopefully we can pay it forward to help you someday! The sunshine has made a huge difference in our healing as well!!! Yea! ☀️🌸🌼☀️🌸🌼
