I’m so glad you have decorated your tree and shared the memories that each ornament was to note a certain event of your life. Thankful for Zeke who has been your comfort all this month since you had extra hours caring for Ben.
From reading many Psalms for decades I know God saves our tears in a bottle, which tells us He is compassionate and you are in His sweet care.
I will pray for Ben to get the dental work needed. And your simplifying Christmas where Jesus is All we need to comfort each one.
Grace is always abundant.

Dearest Amanda,
I miss your mama so much. About a month ago we were in Anaheim, CA. We unintentionally drove past the last hotel your mom, Ben, Stacy and I stayed to take Ben to Disneyland. I realized where I was and cried for a long while, then cried silently for days after. I remembered every detail of where we went, what we talked about and all of the memories we made in those short days that we shared.
I hear so much of your mama in you. When you write and share your feelings and thoughts, Jesus is always your light and direction. It might be hard but you always find the peace of Him. Your mama gave you the greatest gift of all, sharing Jesus with you! She had an amazing way of doing that with all of the people that she deeply cared for (even those she didn’t). She was God’s voice for so many people.
I am thankful that she shared you and Ben with me. I love you guys! I loved the part about the little red truck, I am remembering how excited you were, how appreciative and how blessed we were to share the experience.
I wish you a very Merry Christmas for you, Ben and Zeke. I’m always here for you guys!

With Christ’s Love,
Susan

Amanda,
Your post is beautiful and touching. I agree!
I love how you shared about the ornaments. Honoring family tradition and remembering those gone before us is comforting.
You are an amazing young woman! I’m thankful God has placed Zeke by your side.

You all are in our prayers. Praying for Ben and your requests.
God bless you for your devoted care. God bless your night worker, and all the helpers.

Praying you feel Gods comfort and peace. He will provide the strength you need for each day.
Know how much you are loved. (My mom passed 7 years ago and I believe the veil isn’t very thick between heaven and earth. I get warm fuzzies remembering her often.)
There will be a wonderful reunion one day!❤️
It is evident,
“The joy of the Lord is your strength!🎼”
Much love!
