Ken’s Story

Site created on July 1, 2019

Ken was diagnosed with double pneumonia shortly after our return from Alaska the end of May. I often say that there are no unmixed blessings. The blessing is that a 5 centimeter tumor was identified in the bottom on Ken’s right lung which otherwise would have gone undetected. The pain in his hip, which we thought was a result of compensating for a torn meniscus, turned out to be cancer in the femur. It broke Monday, July 22nd. Ken is currently residing at Good Samaritan Village Focused Rehab.

We will be using Caring Bridge to keep family and friends updated.  We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
