Journal entry by Kay Schroeppel —
This morning, I woke up feeling positive. It seems like a great day to start a blog. I don't know how well I will keep this updated, but how nice is it that family and friends can check this one spot to see how I am doing? I am making it public in case there are others who don't know me who may benefit from my story. I am married and have seven children. My 4th daughter who is now 20 was around 4 years old when I asked her how was her day. "Oh," she replied, "I don't have a day." She had noted that I asked that question of her siblings when they came home from school and had assumed that one had to leave the house in order to have a day. I assured her she did have a day.
We all have days. This blog is a simple place for me to talk about my days as I try to kick this thing called cancer.
