Kati lived one of the most beautiful lives I have ever witnessed on earth. It is because she reflected the beauty of Jesus through her life amidst devastating attacks to her body. When I heard of her physical departure from earth, I cried for many reasons as I thought, "The world just got less beautiful." The beauty of this earth keeps fading but the beauty of our risen Saviour and of the splendor of heaven is unfading. Kati's example in life and death encourages us to reflect the beauty of the hope we have in Jesus in the midst of pain...until we meet again. Cheryl

Kati will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched with God's love. My mind keeps replaying this part of her last post the day before her surgery where she was so very tired and in so much pain, "We’re trusting Papa to take care of us in the way He knows is best." Kati is now pain free, cancer free and rejoicing with her Papa! May God's unsurmountable peace and love surround you Todd and the remainder of Katie's family. Sending many prayers and love!

As a pastor for 45 years I have received notices like this one hundreds of times. Few have impacted me as this one has. I am so sad for our loss, and so grateful for her promotion to glory and victory over pain and sickness.
