Journal entry by Katie McKenzie

Home again, home again, jiggity  jig......
Very happy to move the next phase of my recovery back to Des Moines. I met with my DSM oncology team today. The plan is to rest, walk, drink water, sleep and stay infection free. The next battery of tests will be around day 90, post transplant, which will reveal the success of the transplant. But for now - peace out Nebraska Med!
Thank you for your continued support and prayers!

AKA Aspirin
(Note: ‘Aspirin’ is Katie’s family-given nick-name from childhood. Lovingly given because, as the youngest, she was a pain!)
