I have prayed daily for Katie and your family since she was in my 4th grade class at Compass Bible Church when I found out she had the cancer. She and your family are in my daily prayers and I always thank Him for the solutions He is bringing , for the lives He is changing and the fruit He is multiplying in and through her journey.
She has an amazing faith, and she has the hope and joy in the Lord even after all she has and is going through. I see in her a Joy that surpasses all understanding and a rock solid faith that He is her Father who knows best and will work it all for her good and His Glory.
God is most definitely smiling down on her as she is most definitely bringing Him much Glory.
When the greatest desire of our heart is His Glory, the greatest desire of His heart is our blessing.

We soak up these moments, Mary Kay. We also shed tears of gratitude and love for our Father who is in the middle of this and who loves Katie even more than any one else, as hard as that is to imagine. Katie and the Hawley family aren't just names to us. You are our family, too. We are following Paul's clear instruction in Philippians 4:4 today! "Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!"

Praise the Lord Amen. And what about those Baylor Bears winning it all! National Champs. Praying for Katie. We know a little girl in MT. Juliet Tn that plays basketball with my granddaughter. Cora. 11 years old. She has aplastic leukemia and is undergoing treatment. I use Katie as inspiration. You are helping others.
