Teri,
I have been praying for Katie since I found out she was battling cancer. As a mother I can only imagine how very very heartbreaking this must be. What a blessing she had you for her mother, she was beautiful, funny, energetic, and fierce. She loved life, I saw her hit the ice with two of her boys, coaching hockey. You are so fortunate have those gorgeous son's of hers that live on, knowing they had such a wonderful loving Mother. May God rest her soul.
I am so sorry to hear about Katie. She babysat my grandson, Deklan, for awhile and we all instantly knew he was in the best hands. Katie was always so kind and patient. I have followed her journey on caringbridge and was so sad when I read of her passing. Please know I am praying for all of you. The world is a little less bright without Katie in it but I believe that you will all be together again someday! Take care! 💔
Teri, I am thinking of you and sending you lots of prayers, love and support. You and all Katie's loved ones are in my thoughts and prayers. I am immensely so sad and sorry for this loss. Words can't adequately express my deepest sympathies, thoughts and prayers for you. I am thankful to have had her in my life.
Please reach out to Brighter days family grief center. They have lots of resources for families that have lost parents and loved ones. I have volunteered with Camp Erin many years and definitely recommend it for the kids. Let me know if you want more information or want me to have them reach out. Sending prayers and love to the whole family.
Teri, I loved the time I spent with Katie as her babysitter/housesitter❤️ She was a spitfire❤️ We bonded driving her to speed skating practices across town and cheap movie nights! She was one of a kind, beautiful, heart of gold and all around amazing❤️ She is going to be missed, but I know her spirit will empower many! Prayers to you and the family🙏 She is In heaven living life with your sis and mom❤️❤️
My heart aches for your loss. She was an absolute light in this life. Time and life have separated us but I have never forgotten all the time we spent together. My prayers are with your family.
I’m so glad I got to meet her, and got to know her, when I did.
One of the last times we met, I told her what an inspiration she is to me and to everyone. ALWAYS with a smile on her face, and a “Nevermind all of THAT; how are YOU?”
