We thank the Lord, Doug, for your loving care for Katie and the love He has given you for her. We rejoice in her profession of faith! And God gives us, and you, this message: I do not want you to be ignorant concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope, For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus." 1 Thess. 4:13-14. This life is so short - and eternity is forever! We continue to pray for you and yours. In Christ, Karl and Linda Rudolph

Dear Doug and family - I am so sad to see this and my heart aches for you all. I had the pleasure of being in Katie's training class at Schwab and was fortunate to sit next to her at work. We got to know each other well and I loved to hear all her stories about you kids and I felt like I knew you even though I never met you. She loved you all so much and was so, so proud of you all. It hurts that she is no longer physically here but I have no doubt she is watching over you with so much love. Sending you peace during this difficult time.

To Doug and all the family, my most sincere and deep sympathy for you all. When we lived in Surprise we got to know Katie well when we had our church in Sonoran Heights school and my oldest daughter Katie was good friends with Liliya. We are all so heart broken for you, and blessed to have known Katie as a friend. May you be immersed in peace and strength in these days.

Dear Doug - Even though Katie prepared us for this, it is still hard to hear. She was a warrior and fought until the very end. My sincere condolences to you and your and Katie's entire family. So sorry you lost your soul mate and partner. Sending love and peace. . .
