Yes, Dale. From now on it will really be different to live through special days, holidays or any event, for that matter. I pray God’s love will fill your heart and take away the loneliness you feel and fill up the emptiness that is there. God is walking with you through this valley.

Kathy was always loved. As are you and the rest of the family. Holidays are hard. I found it best to surround myself with family and get through together. You guys are strong and we’re continuing to pray for you.

As I pray for you and your family, my heart hurts over that empty place. Yes, He has prepared a place and she now lives there, but "here" must be so hard. I remember a simple conversation we had at Cracker Barrel a few years back. We don't know each other very well, but our bond n Christ has always been there, and I remember that day and the connection I saw in you and Kathy. Each of you listened when the other talked, and I saw the appreciation on both your faces for your good spouse. Thank you for such a memory. God has you, Dale. He has you all. And He will take you on, day by day, until again you are in her company. We pray for you.
