Journal

This is a repeat from Facebook but I wanted to reach as many as possible.

Today would have been our 37th anniversary. It is one of those special days that ever grief book speaks off. Grief has to be processed and I need to step in and out of it. I welcome these days. Grief is love unfinished. It is good as it is her day. Remember with me.

Life is a set of journeys. Our journey together is one that I will always cherish. The 2021 treatment year was hard but in many ways was the very special. You all had a big part in that and I thank you from the bottom heart. God was good to put us together and to give us so many to adventure and do life with…starting with our children Josh and Jenae. For those wondering, 2022 has been a journey of grief and recovery. I am doing both with the help of so many. I already see God’s hand in this journey too. I will trust Him. God’s timing happened today. Keep reading.

The first photo, w
e are at the start. My the years went quickly. They say pictures turn from hard reminders to sweet memories. I’m getting there but I cannot post any of these yet. You all have your own memories and pictures. Take a moment and reflect on how lucky we all were to have been in her journey.

The second photo shows my plan for today which was to put white solar chime/ornament that arrived yesterday (on top only for pic…now in my office). When I pulled it from the porch, mail was there too with a gravestone invoice from Baughman Memorial Works (Dover PA). I called and asked when it would be installed and they said it was just installed. Our anniversary gift. I am thrilled beyond measure with it. She did most of the design. I added color which I thought was only the green grass/trees and a blue sky. Look closely and you’ll see details and color like the white wicker, blue flag, wreath and scooter colors. Unbelievable. Glory to God. What timing! She rests in Dillsburg Cemetery (corner where trees are planted. Pay a visit.

The last photo is a favorite picture.  Forever grateful to Rebecca for that photo shoot.  So vibrant and beautiful.  And pretty outside too.  Leave you all on a good note.  Thanks for being our family and friends.
