Dear Vic, I am so sorry to hear of Kathy's passing. I did not know that she was ill. So unexpected that an amazing woman is gone - I admired her commitment and ability to live life exactly as she left right - without concern for others expectations or approval. Her deep commitment to social justice, her family, and her community, were an extraordinary example for me. I feel for you, your daughters and their families for this loss. Vic, I'm so sorry to hear of Kathy's rapid decline and departure. Especially so soon after the high of her life celebration. She was an amazing and dedicated woman. Cancer is truly the "emperor of all maladies." I pray that you and your family will feel Jesus' warm embrace at this hard time.
