On June 10th when I got the call from mom at 2:15am, all she said was “Dad got his wings tonight”. I’ll never forget the sound of her shaky voice on the phone.
Now, 4 months and 3 days later, peacefully in her sleep, Mom got her wings to join Dad, their parents and many others. Heaven got a true angel tonight and one that we were so lucky to have been raised by and lucky to have known. There is no one better than Kathleen Durbin. She is loved by so many and will be dearly missed by all!!
I love you always and forever, Mom, to the moon and back! We will wave from the lazy river, visit you often, and remember everything you gave us and did for us.
Thank you for fighting as hard as you did the last 4 months. Thank you for giving us the time to say goodbye. And thank you for being the best mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother to all of us ❤️❤️❤️
