On November 27, 2018, after months of bloodwork, multiple scans and a bone marrow biopsy, I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. This is a rare and incurable but treatable cancer of the plasma cells in my bone marrow. Plasma cells are some of the white cells that help fight infection. I started a 16 week course of chemotherapy on December 20, 2018. This will be followed by a stem cell transplant. I have a very positive attitude and am ready for the fight of my life for my life. Tony has been amazing. He keeps me strong when I start to feel weak. My family has been a huge source of support and comfort to me. Positive thoughts and prayers are always welcome.
