Katharine Lynn’s Story

Site created on November 10, 2018

Welcome to Katharine's  CaringBridge website.

As many of you read on FB Katharine has been battling some severe GI issues for quite some time and only in the last few weeks did the seriousness become evident.  She was admitted to the University of Minnesota East Bank hospital for further tests and bloodwork to determine exactly the cause.

She is in good spirits, but is searching for a good way to communicate to friends and family in one place what's going on because she can't respond to every text or email or phone call right now.

As the picture becomes clearer in the upcoming days and weeks I will be posting more here on her behalf -- as well as posting a schedule through take a meal to coordinate meal planning to help both the Rademacher family and Joe Lang and the kids.

Please feel free to share this link to friends and family who might know Katharine as a way to both offer her support her and her family  but  also to keep updated on her condition as they learn more.

Katharine and her family appreciates your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting. - Pam

Journal entry by Pam & Gerry Bosch

Katharine Rademacher Lang, age 46, of Hopkins, MN, died peacefully on Monday, April 22, 2019. She is survived by her children, Allie, Avery, Joey, Jenna, and Jack; the children's father, Joe Lang and his family; her parents, Don and Sarah (Anderly) Rademacher; her brother, Scott Rademacher, his wife, Carrie, and their children, Pierce and Chase; loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and devoted friends.

Born May 1, 1972, in Minneapolis, MN, Katharine's life was always about relationships, with family, with friends, with co-workers. She had the ability to love and care deeply, without reservation. When necessary, she went to the ends of the earth to defend and advocate for those she loved.

We will celebrate her life on Tuesday, April 30, 2019, 11:00 AM, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1917 Logan Avenue South, Minneapolis. The family will greet friends after the service and a light lunch will be served.

If desired, memorials may be directed to The MSAB Foundation, Children's Minnesota , or the Katharine Lang Irrevocable Trust, established for the benefit of her children.
