Journal entry by Katey Squires —
Woo-Hoo!!!! Radiation is over. 34 rounds done. My skin is still crispy, but I finished last Thursday and then jumped on a plane for a big work meeting in Dallas.
i am so excited to be done. I will have follow up blood draws every 3 months and Zometa infusions every 6 months. I will most likely finish the reconstruction in the fall when my skin and tissue heals.
This has been one of the most difficult journeys and I am so grateful to have finished it.
I am truly blessed to have so many amazing people in my life, thank you all.
