BTW, a natural bio-available form of iron is spinach cooked in a cost iron skillet with a bit of acid such as lemon or vinegar. Less likely to cause constipation than most other forms of iron supplementation.

When I became severely anemic, I ate this 3-4 times per week for about a month to reach "normal" levels. Then 1-2 times a week until I could have surgery to fix the problem.

Fantastic news Charlie! It is so good to hear that you are both feeling optimistic. We are having needlework at my house on May 8, if she is able to come that would be great. If you bring her I can get her home. We have an oxygen concentrator if she brings her nasal canula. Hope she can make it and the interstitial lung/j-tube gets resolved.
