I learned of Karen's death today and am sending my condolences. Karen was one of the first friends I made when I moved to Mankato in 1980. She was a regular visitor when I recently spent two months at a rehab center following my stroke in May 2022, and she even came to visit me once I returned home later in the summer. I will miss her; she was such a good example of how one can recover from a stroke and lead a full life. My condolences to her family.

What a wonderful life she lived with many who loved her. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
