Hi All,
It has been awhile since we gave an update but no news is good news in this case. Mom just started her latest round of chemo yesterday. Her blood values look good and she is feeling good. She is fully vaccinated now which has been a blessing and gives her a little more freedom.
She was having quite a bit of difficulty with her port, every time they accessed it, they could not get blood out of it for her blood draws without putting in heparin and TPA. Ultimately she made the decision to have it removed and had day surgery about a week ago for the removal.
