I had a follow up with my oncologist (PA) today.  He said I am considered cancer free!!!!!!  I did multiple chemo treatments, surgeries (double mastectomy and ovary removal), and I am continuing with infusions and medications for many years to come. The 2 and 5 year marks post surgery (April 2022 and April 2025) will be the next milestones to reach.  Staying cancer free to these points will decrease my chance of future reoccurrence.  Of course I will continue to have follow ups with oncology and the breast clinic every 6 months for at least five years.  Thank you so much for everyone who has followed my journey and supported me.  It was a very trying time and I continue to work on regaining my strength.  Please continue to keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I continue my SURVIVOR journey!!!!!
