Exactly 7 days ago yesterday!!!
An ear-ache, sore neck muscles, an ice-pick headache took Sweet Kara to the ER. She felt SILLY going to the ER for what was sure to be ‘nothing big’.
Hmmmm, it’s BIG, alright!!!
Life-threatening sized proportion BIG!!! FOREVER BIG!!!
Thrust into immediate Palliative Radiation treatments, starting Chemo in-sync w/ Radiation (with one part of that chemo treatment costing $16,000 per month).
BUT GOD..... (He is IN this fire with Kara, His beloved child!!!).
Head & vertebrae pain causing inability to rest in her flat bed w/o more unbearable pain....
BUT GOD...
inability to hold her precious, lit’l fella for whom she wept & prayed for 7 long years his weeping heart to be rocked & held by his mommy, but no rocking chair was comfortable & supportive to do so.
BUT GOD...
Ty’s position of responsibility at work, how could he BE his wife’s constant help & support & not put his employment in danger...
BUT GOD...
Ty’s having to face s lifetime of medical expenses farrrr out of his ability to maintain or control, all of which goes directly against Ty’s innate dedication and priority to keeping them safe from financial distress & alarm....How CAN it be done???

SuperWoman, Kara, teaching 3rd graders with all the gusto, love, & full-engagement of any of the “Best Teachers” on the face of the earth, working the children’s ministry w/Ty altho they were brand new members of their new church home (Crossgates Baptist Church), teaching VBS the 1st week after school ended (Mon-Fri), & hosting her sister’s baby shower on the Saturday after VBS, ....hospitalized on Sunday... WHAT??? HOW CAN THIS BE????
BUT GOD...
Just a FEW of the “BUT GOD” Blessings I am amazed by already I this new journey we all walk with Kara Alison:
1. Kara’s place of employment being filled with friends & coworkers who love, respect, cherish, and honor Kara... even, the extra bonus of a brand new, Godly boss who lovingly, humbly visited Kara in the hospital, & has already ACTED to bring BLESSINGS into Kara’s life!!! God thinks of every detail!!!
The fact is, many at FPDS have watched Kara’s genuineness, Commitment to & walk with Christ... when life was “just normal life”. Now, they are benefiting in seeing her unskakeable love of & faith in GOD.
And, our blessing is in witnessing their love for God, their believing fully in Jesus, and in HIS POWER to do MORE THAN ABUNDANTLY ABOVE!!! And their bring full to overflowing with God’s love FOR Kara!!! 💕💕💕
2. The hundreds of children Kara has taught at FPDS, many in high school & college now, reaching back to Kara to give the gifts of Prayer, for supernatural healing, giving words of affirmation & of love for their teacher who they knew genuinely LOVED them. AND the many, many parents from those dozen years who are giving back to one who gave to their child, whether by words of faith, encouragement, giving of resources... each act of love is cherished!!
3. Kara’s friends!!! From elementary school, middle school, & high school through college....to the newer friends made in her career-life, married-couple life, motherhood-life, up to her new church-family life. Enough CANNOT be said!!! Friends who have respected her (honoring her inability to talk on the phone, or to answer their text messages, or to give them an explanation for this tsunami-size ‘ivernight’ disaster). Friends who haven’t tried to be noticed, have given with utterly no strings attached, have sought to serve Kara so unselfishly, have not thought of themselves or of getting their name engraved in some plaque so that they get some honor in the doing... the humility & tender, unselfish love has been staggering!
4. Our new church family at Crossgates has been AMAZING! Ministers showing up to pray with authority in Christ & complete faith, small group members acting like family-members, taking ownership of Kara, Ty & Easton’s issues “as if” they were IN THE FIGHT WITH THEM... Praise Jesus!!!
A Pastor who says what he means & means what he says, and DOUBTS NOT, not for a minute, that this BATTLE IS THE LORD’s; Our part is to get in the battle with our LORD, under His leadership & authority, and PRAY, “speak it”, BELIEVING, for the downpour of rain of God’s power, mercy, grace, provision, and might HEALING for The Glory of God!!!
SOOO much so that he had arranged the Sunday night services in July to be dedicated to praying for & believing for Kara’s SNF others’ SUPERNATURAL HEALING!
Yes!!! We are “walking by FAITH and NOT by sight”! Thank You, Jesus!!! ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏
